We are happy to announce our third annual "Solo & CI Tirol Festival 2021" which will take place in Austria this year. We believe that our mission is to maintain and strengthen physical and mental health that becomes vital as never before.
The "Solo & CI Festival" is a safe space for you, your friends and your family, where you will have a chance to get acquainted with contemporary dance techniques, contact tango, physical theater, classical contact improvisation and take part in daily jams. Being surrounded with spectacular Tyrolean landscapes, its impressive mountain ridges, virgin forests, and pure untouchable nature you will get a perfect chance to recharge your batteries and find new meanings and directions.
This year we have expanded our program and invited new world-famous teachers.
There is going to be an additional opportunity to participate in a closed group of physical theatre which will work on a mini-performance throughout the festival and present it on the last day. In case you are interested, please read the project description carefully and indicate your participation in this course during the registration.

Dear participants, we continue dancing in cozy and charming Obendorf (close to St. Johann in Tirol).
That tiny village, surrounded by high peaks of Wilder Kaiser mountain ridge,
will pull us into its arms in a warm and tight hugs.

How to get there? If you plan to take a flight, we would recommend to check on Innsbruck, Vienna or Munich, these are the most convenient destinations, and the transfer to Obendorf will not take much time. You can check railway schedule or Bus connections by the following links:

Dancing and living spaces
We have a special venue with a long history. The building belongs to medieval times. Interior designed in a traditional Tyrolean style, which would help to dive into the atmosphere of old times of these lands and get in touch with local culture. Nowadays, it's a gest house with big sport room, accommodation for 100 people, kitchen, bar, dining room and a huge area around, where we can dance, rest, make shooting or music jams. |

Niederstrasserhof gest hous provides us with delicious vegeterian and not vegeterian food. We decided to keep the opportunity open for all kinds of diets/nutritions. Most of food is grown on the Niederstrasserhof land (bio). In the registration form you have the chance to mark your preferable kind of meal and amount of it.
Every meal looks like buffet with plenty of choice. We promise you won't be hungry.

REGISTRATION
Dear guests, due to the consequences of COVID-19, and our global economical crisis, we offer “Early Bird” registration. It means that our dance-course participation price will be 200 euros for the whole week up until April 1. Once these places are filled, the price will increase to 240 Euros untill July 8; and last minute purchase is 290 Euros. Please complete the registration form. This year, you have a chance to choose between three different accommodation options provided by the festival as well as selecting your food.
Participation requires a 50% pre-payment. There are only a certain amount of people that a dancing space can comfortably accommodate, hence your early registration is highly appreciated!
| The Conditions of the COVID ERA The team of the festival can not predict the global situation as the virus develops. We strongly believe that by this August, danger of being infected will decrease. However, it's possible that PCR testing will be required. If you’re unable to join us because of illness or another personal issue, your prepayment won't be returned. We thank you for your understanding and respect of this festival policy. |
